In CCIM breakfast meetings at the Toronto Real Estate Board in the ’70s, 80’s, 90’s, we would conduct Have and Want marketing sessions. 

A lot of real estate transactions got consummated.

However, as a real estate broker myself, I thought:

• brokers and salespeople who presented their Haves and Wants had a limited audience missing out on exposure and more potential connections to do business.
• No one could write down fast enough to keep track of them all. And it happened. In the future, you have an opportunity but could not remember who the buyer was that was presented in a past session. Missed opportunities! Missed opportunities would have been good for the buyers and sellers and, of course, a money maker for the broker.
• People who did not attend the breakfast meeting would miss out. What a shame. Members of the chapter who could not attend were missing out, and the attendees missed out because the people who perhaps have connected with them did not make the meeting. Missed opportunities.
