Comments: My first tune up, and it was definitely worth it. According to the National Association of Realtors®, 74 percent of consumers start their real estate search online. Consumers rank getting home listings, researching neighborhood information, and searching for homes using online mapping technology as the top three most important activities when it comes to buying a home, according to Kelton Research. Conferences are now secured within minutes of 12 noon EDT, 9AM Pacific Time. Latecomers disturb the meeting! Twenty people may have to wait while things are repeated for the latecomers. This penalizes all the people who are on time. If you are late and miss the meeting, you can:

Due to the increase in the number of members and the need for continued orientation and training, we have started world conference calls where members can call in from anywhere in the world and attend a conference call meeting while you are on the Internet live.  Everyone will be online live from the comfort of their own business or home office!

Duration:

  • Generally they are officially scheduled for one hour and 15 minutes. Others may stay on longer asking questions.
  • You must join at the beginning on time but you can leave anytime. There is a seven minute grace period until all have arrived.

Where:

  • Conducted in your home or business office, over the phone, while you are on the Internet.
  • Participants can be any place in the world to call in.

Instructions:

  • Please make sure you can log in to ICIWorld.net click on Member Management, click on Log in.
  • Have two internet explorer windows open.  We will alternate between them.
  • In Window #1 click on Resource Center. This is the start of each conference.
  • In Window #2 click on See who is registered. (it is on this page!) and you can see who is registered and click on Listings to see their listings and do some networking.
  • Send an email to: conference @ iciworld.net to say you are now in the conference. Your email should contain your business card information.
  • New members should spend fifteen minutes in a session with us prior to the day of a conference call.
  • We will designate up 2-3 brokers for instruction and everyone else will follow.
  • Questions can be asked during the conference in two ways: verbally or by email to questions @ iciworld.net our mail program checks messages every 60 seconds.
  • It is helpful if everyone mutes their phone so that background noises do not interfere. Press 6 to mute and unmute your phone while on the conference call.
  • For large groups, questions should be addressed by EMail during the session. We have another computer that searches incoming mail every 60 seconds, and pops up your questions in an email. We answer them during the session. Send EMail questions @ iciworld.net
