We would like to thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. We pledge you our full support. However if you do not let us know that you need help then we can't help you. Please remember our pledge that everyone does business or you call us!

Our pledge http://www.iciworld.net/everyonedoesbusiness.htm

We have made some changes to our support. We now offer 5 days per week customer service for all new & existing members at any of the main numbers at the bottom of this email such as 416-840-6227 and ask for Janet. The after hours and weekends phone number is 416-214-4875.

Please do not spend longer than 5-10 minutes if you are stuck on something in order to contact us whenever you have a question.

As you know we offer a free for 3 months website for those three months we offer full support for all members, we do suggest you book a 1/2 hour training session. We do this in your office over the phone. Sit in front of your computer on one line, while you are speaking with our office on the other line.

There are nine basic and important concepts which we should go over for your benefit.

Web site training videos:

There are 3 videos that will help get you started:

  • Login Procedure and Getting Started

  • The Online Office

  • PUFLite Installation

These videos will be very informative for when you have your orientation with us.

A few notes for placing Have and Want Information on www.ICIWorld.net

Your subject line is very important. It is the line that is circulated locally and around the world in many different ways. If it is missing information or is vague, you will find many people are too busy to follow up on things. For this reason we suggest you place at least four ingredients in your subject line: Area (general Location and relationship to a major city), Type, Size and/or Price, Sizzle. And usually in that order as well.

It should read like a mini classified ad. There are 160 characters or almost 3 lines available for you. It has to trigger someone to be interested first before anyone will read your full page of information.

Complete instructions for entering information is here.

Of course if you prefer it exactly the way you have it, it is completely up to you. This is only a suggestion.

And remember for wants, you must start the subject line with the word Wanted. Also make sure you have keywords in your subject line.

After you have entered your information you could Search Have/Want Information and click on the Latest Listings to see if it went in correctly, check to make sure you have it in the right category, etc.

To modify/delete a message, go to www.iciworld.net, click on Log In Member Management, click on My Listings. Click on Add/Modify/Delete a Have/Want Listing to add a listing.

You should now print out the Welcome Instruction and Training Program.

In the training session we will cover:

  • how brokers are making more money from their information than from their listings;

  • database management, how to place a link on your home page that brings up all YOUR LISTINGS onto the screen of the viewer;

  • these listings can be changed anytime, absolutely free by you anytime now that you are a member;

  • entering information, how to, do's and don'ts;

  • collecting information, 4 important ways;

  • distribution of information;

  • how and what to use in your listing presentations;

  • resource center;

  • FSBO area;

  • filters, how they are so valuable in sorting incoming mail;

  • email and a database of industry wide haves and wants at your fingertips;

  • keyword searching;

  • the most important responsibility of the broker/salesperson;

  • suggestions on time management, what you should and shouldn't be doing on the internet;

  • how to keep from losing information and staying organized;

These are all tools that should be in your information tool box for a broker.

Do not hesitate to contact us when you have any questions.

Sincerely
Gary Nusca, CCIM
