CCIM Commercial Real Estate Scholarship

CCIM CENTRAL CANADA CHAPTER TO AWARD

COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS

Toronto, May 6, 1996--The CCIM Central Canada Chapter of the Certified Commercial Investment Members (CCIMs) is accepting applications for scholarships providing free tuition for an advanced course in commercial investment real estate.

Ray Lyons, President of the Chapter, said the scholarships, based on merit or outstanding achievement in commercial real estate or an allied profession will be awarded to 3 individuals.

The award grants free tuition for its CI 101, "Financial Analysis for Commercial Real Estate", which is part of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute's curriculum leading to the CCIM designation.

An affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS, the CI Institute has 9,000 members and provides education programs and services for professionals in commercial and investment real estate, as well as allied industries. It awards the CCIM designation to individuals who complete a series of graduate-level courses in advanced concepts and techniques in commercial real estate.

The Chapter's scholarship committee, chaired by Gary Nusca, Committee Chairman, Toronto will select a recipient by July 30, 1996. Individuals interested in applying for the scholarships should contact Gary Nusca at The Market ICI World Network, Box 77, TD Centre, #2550, Toronto, Ontario, M5K 1E7, 416-777-2633.

The CCIM Central Canada Chapter conducts business and educational programs for local professionals in commercial real estate. It is one of 53 U.S. and Canadian Chapters of the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute.
