Dear CCIM Member:

The devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina to the Gulf Coast has prompted CCIM Institute to contribute $15,000 to a special fund established by the National Association of Realtors® to provide emergency relief to hurricane victims.

 

The donation will support Realtor contributions to state associations in Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi that have disaster relief operations in place.

 

Television images and news reports show catastrophic damage to New Orleans, Biloxi and other communities along the Gulf Coast.  It will take months – if not years – for survivors to return to some form of normalcy.  The leadership of CCIM Institute wholeheartedly encourages all members to contribute what you can to the Realtor fund.

On a related note, many of our Designees and Candidate members – in the south and elsewhere – have second homes and/or open office space.  Another way to help fellow members is to offer living accommodations and office space.  This truly would be a way to help members keep their businesses operational.  Contact your local Chapter or colleagues directly and offer help. 

Your help – with a cash donation or accommodations – will truly be appreciated by people who already have lost so much.
